We invite you to join us as a patron supporter of Our Lady Star of the Sea’s Christ centered school of excellence. Our love for Catholic education and all it has to offer begins with our own experiences as proud products of Catholic education: Our Lady Star of the Sea School, St. Henry in Lincoln Park and St Isaac Jogues in St. Clair Shores. Our three children (Gregory ‘96, Sara ‘99, and Bethany ‘03) have all benefited from the outstanding academics, Catholic formation, extracurricular activities and competitive sports offered at Star. Our children’s Catholic education continued as they are successful graduates of DeLaSalle Collegiate, Regina High School, University of Dayton and Loyola University. Phyllis also taught multiple grades at Star for many years and launched its Enrichment Center in 1996. Star is not just a school, it is truly a warm and secure family environment for its students.
In 1998, Our Lady Star of the Sea School proudly earned the high distinction of being named one of only two Michigan Catholic schools to be awarded the prestigious North Central Accreditation. Star’s staff and students work diligently each year to maintain this important accreditation. Graduates have always excelled at various private and public high schools, many with academic honors. We are proud of our students, our alumni, and their accomplishments.
The annual auction is the school’s largest fundraiser and its proceeds go directly to improving our school for our students. Previous auction funds have been used to enhance curriculum programs, upgrade technology, and facility improvements for the safety and security of our students. Proceeds from this year’s auction will be used to offer an innovative and excellent education which will include a new Robotics Program.
Please join us and the auction committee in supporting this year’s Patron Campaign.
